Who does what


Decisions are made by full council at meetings open to the public. There are a maximum of nine councillors if all the available seats are filled.


The Council has only one committee, an advisory committee dealing with personnel/employment issues.

Judith Mashiter

Clerk — Judith Mashiter


Judith has lived in Teesdale since 1989 and has held various roles with local organisations. In addition to running a print design and publishing business, Judith has also worked as a consumer champion in the postal, health and water industry sectors. She is proud to serve Staindrop Parish Council as its Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
